Students

Students of Translation Studies are of particular interest to JTP, as they are the future of our profession.

• Events aimed primarily at students and newcomers to the profession include the Spring Package (formerly “Young Jerome”), an annual event with lectures by specialists on various aspects of how to (successfully) start working in the field.
• The JTP library is available for students to consult books and other information resources in person. The library contains 5,000 dictionaries and translation-related publications in a very wide range of language combinations.
• Students can also take advantage of a special JTP membership rate, paying 25% of the normal membership fee while enjoying most of the benefits of membership, such as free attendance at events, special member discounts, ‘ToP’ magazine, the JTP Newsletter, and access to members-only online discussion groups, mentoring programmes and networking.
